**  i jumped into my "Knitting on the Edge" book to whip up a quick test knit... this one is pretty cool, i can think of a million uses... i wanted to continue it into a baby hat but i ran out of time...

**  the edge pattern is on page 60... i used Shaefer Yarns, Little Lola, US 6 needles 

**  how fitting that the photos are taken in front of my keyboard, which has been my constant companion for the last 48 hours straight  ;-)   
i should just attach it to my hip....
