** i knit this manly hat on a car ride to NH... it's for a friend who's been waiting for a missa hat and i never got around to it...

PATTERN FOR HAT:

yarn:  Little Lola - Shaefer Yarns
          (light worsted merino)

needles: US 7 dpns
gauge: 4.5 sts per inch

knit with 2 strands held together

-cast on 80 sts
-k4 p1 ribbing for 38 rows
-*k2tog, k2tog, p1* around
-*k2tog thru back loop, p1* around
-pull yarn thru remaining sts to close

super simple because the only decreases are the last two rows... and it makes a cool "puff" at the top for those who dont like the classic flat head of a beanie...
