** i couldn't resist making bubby from the new knitty... quick to knit AND i had just the right color of Empire Silk to match Bobbi Bear!!

** i made her arms a bit longer than the pattern called for... and did a couple increases in the arm-paws so that they matched the foot increases...

** and what is that around her neck?  why, it's a leather and sterling silver necklace!!  hey, why not, i went over the top using italian silk yarn, why not give her some jewelry...  

** Vanessa makes a much better face than i can... why do i always have trouble with that?  i can never draw, embroider, or otherwise create a lovely face... (ps. have you ever spent a whole day away from a mirror or your reflection and forgotten what you look like?  i have..)
